Mary Louise Farrer

Mary Louise Farrer passed away April 25, 2021 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 79 years old. She was born February 24, 1942 in San Francisco, CA to Roy and Emma (Nettleton) Foster. She preferred being called Louise since her family had so many "Mary" relatives. She loved helping friends and did so. Senior center was one she enjoyed most, meeting with friends. She played computer games, BUNKO and cards games to the end, and really enjoyed working outdoors on her landscape and with her horse Amos. She was an avid collector of memorabilia. The house interior changed with the seasons and reflected her desire to enjoy that season to the maximum. With her husband Mel, they traveled across the US with her Brother Don Foster and his wife Ruthie every other year until Don passed away in 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother and several second-generation Aunts and Uncles. She is survived by her husband of 59-1/2 years, Leland Melvin Farrer of Ione, CA; Our three children, Ray Allen and Brian Lee and daughter "Mary" Colleen (Farrer) Gibson; Grandchildren, Richardt, Andrew, Jason and Sabrina, Nichole Gibson, Michael Gibson and 4 great grand children. A celebration of life for Louise will be held at a later date.
