Mary Ellen Finster

Finster , Mary Ellen, 75, was reunited in Heaven with her husband, Joseph, April 5, 2014. Born in Detroit, Mi. To Maurice and Mary Fouracre and raised in Tenafly, NJ. Mary Ellen and Joseph were married 46 years; now the high school sweethearts will gratefully celebrate eternity together. They had five sons: Jay and wife, Stacey, with their children Cameron, Chase, Kate, Madeline and Caroline; Mike and wife, Marybeth, with their children Heather, Ashley, Julia, Ryan and Joseph; Mark and wife, Susan, with their children Alex and Patrick; John and wife, Laurie, with their children Emma, Matthew and AJ; KC and wife, Stacy, with their children Preston and Danielle. Mary Ellen was a homemaker but listed occupation as zookeeper and suspect raising 5 sons was more challenging than taming lions yet not as rewarding. Mary Ellen's loving family will celebrate her life April 10 from 6-8pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home at 2201 Dr. M.L. King Street N, St. Petersburg. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 11 at 10am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE, St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joseph and Mary Ellen Finster, Jr., MD Memorial Medical Student Scholarship Fund at the University of South Florida.
