Mary Ann Fogleman

Mary Ann Fogleman, 86 of Blountville, passed away on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Wexford House, Kingsport. Born in Russell County, Virginia, she lived most of her life in Sullivan County, (Central Heights Community) Blountville. She was retired from the Sullivan County Highway Department. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Clifford "Bill" Fogleman; her parents, Buster and Edna Fields; brother, Jimmy Fields. Survivors include her brothers, Pete Fields & wife Joyce, Raymond Fields & wife Iris; sister-in-laws, Margaret Fogleman and Wanda Shelton; special friends, Gayvern and Fred Moore; also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel with Pastor Wayne Baker and Pastor Lewis Kizer, officiating. Special music will be by the Pleasant View Church Choir and Bryon Fogleman. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at KnollKreg Memorial Park, Abington, VA. Pallbearers will be Bryon Fogleman, Mark Fogleman, Lyle Fogleman, Keith Fogleman, Steve Wilson, Scott Shelton, Eric Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Monroe Herron, Fred Moore, Fred Garrett, Will Earhart, Daniel Mitchell and Jerry Scalf. In lieu of flowers and food, memorial contributions may be sent to Pleasant View Baptist Church (Church Choir), 2101 Stadium Drive, Kingsport, Tennessee 37664. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Wexford house for the wonderful love and care extended to Mary Ann and also to the Amedisys Hospice.
