To view Mary's Life Celebration, click on the following link: https://vimeo.com/491342523 Password: MaryHazen Mary Ann Hazen, 71, of Eaton, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Greeley, joining her daughter Tiffany and her Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven. She was born July 1, 1949 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Paul John and Anna (Stewart) Danger where she grew up. Mary graduated from Heelan High School in Sioux City, Iowa and went on to graduate from beauty school in Council Bluffs, Iowa, later becoming an instructor. She married Gary Hazen on April 12, 1970 in Fort Dodge and they relocated to Colorado. In their early years, Mary stayed home, raising their family and later worked for the Masters Agency in Greeley and then the Weld County Assessor’s Office, before retiring. They loved traveling in their motor home and boating with the grandkids. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, Bible study and blessing others, especially her family, at Christmas time. Mary developed a friendship with a group of women at the Eaton Rec Center and they played Bridge, participated in Silver Sneakers and she served the Senior lunch program each Wednesday. She was a former member of Resurrection Fellowship, Eaton Evangelical Free Church and they were currently attending High Plains Harvest Church in Ault. Thankful to have shared her life are her husband, Gary, children; Suzette (Jeff) Fitzgerald and Erick (Allison) Hazen, five grandchildren; Claire, Nathan and Daniel Fitzgerald, Ella and Barrett Hazen. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tiffany; brothers, Jack and Ken Danger and her twin sister, Marilyn Danger. Mary’s Life Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at Resurrection Fellowship, 6502 E. Crossroads Blvd, Loveland observing social distancing and wearing masks. The sanctuary is very large and will accommodate social distancing very adequately.
