Mary Grovene Hines-Chruchill

Mary Grovene Hines-Churchill, 82 of Marysville, CA passed away January 18, 2014 at Prestige Assisted Living in Marysville. Born February 11, 1931 in Orange, New Jersey, she was a resident of the Yuba Sutter area for 55 years. Mary was an Operations Supervisor for United California Bank and had also worked as a bookkeeper for Del Pero Mondon Meat Co. Mary belonged to Ducks Unlimited, California Waterfowl Assoc., and Trinity Anglican Church, Marysville. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Ohl (husband Jim) of Sparks, NV; step-daughter, Ellie Wright (husband Herb) of Copperas Cove, TX; step-son, Forest Churchill of the Yuba City/Marysville area; 6 grandchildren, 5 great - grandchildren (with #6 on the way). Also survived by her "adopted family" the loving staff at Prestige Assisted Living in Marysville, who cared for her husband and her in their final years. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Churchill; and son, Charles "Chip" Berry. Memorial services will be conducted Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at Trinity Anglican Church, 929 11th St., Marysville, with Reverend Victor Schreffler, officiating. Inurnment will be private at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
