Mary Kathleen (Kathy) Stavenger
October 17th, 1960 - December 22nd, 2021
Mary Kathleen (Kathy) Stavenger passed away on December 19, 2021, after a long illness. She was 61 years old. Kathy was born in Wilmington, DE, and after spending the first months of her life in foster care, she was placed by Catholic Social Services into a loving family at 18 months old. Kathy graduated from Merrimack High School in Merrimack, NH. She moved to Lexington, KY, in 1990 and began working in day care centers. Kathy loved dressing up for Halloween and collected anything related to pigs. She is survived by her son Robbie Stavenger, mother Arlene Stavenger brothers Paul (Cathy) Stavenger, Robert (Mary) Stavenger and sister Donna (Mark) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon Stavenger. A memorial service will be 10am Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center - Brannon Crossing.
