58, of Parker, passed away on August 23, 2012 at Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center in Centennial, with family at her side. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Crossroads Community Church, 9900 Twenty Mile Road in Parker (80134). Mary was born on July 20, 1954 in Lincoln, NE (Lancaster County) to Arthur P. and Harriett J. (Hill) Sullivan. She graduated from Pius X High School in Lincoln and went on to obtain her Associates Degree at Southeast Community College, also in Lincoln. Mary married Ronald H. Knapp on November 17, 1984 in Conifer, CO. She was employed as an Executive Administrator to the CEO at The Breakaway Group. She was a volunteer at the Porter Hospice for 3 years, enjoyed gardening, do-it-yourself home projects, iridology, herbology, and Longaberger baskets. Mary is survived by her Husband, Ronald H. Knapp, Stepsons, Ronald (Kathy) Knapp of Connecticut, Ray Michael (Petra) Peterson of Castle Rock, Grandchildren, Kenneth Peterson and Fiona Peterson, Brother John (Patty) Sullivan of Jacksonville, FL, Sisters, Patricia J. (Norman) Duff of Lincoln, NE, Sally (Rex) Fuller of Chesapeake Beach, MD, and Margaret (Michael) Harms of Morton, IL, Mother-in-Law, Carol Knapp. Also survived by Nephews, Evan Fuller of Annapolis, MD, Jason Duff of Lincoln, NE and Patrick (Sarah) Harms of West Chicago, IL, Ryan (Kari) Sullivan of Jacksonville, FL, Nieces, Quinn Fuller of Upper Marlboro, MD, Michelle (David) Look of Chicago, IL, Lindsey Harms of Fenton, MO, and Amber (Richie) Schafe of Australia. Preceded in death by her Parents, Arthur and Harriett Sullivan, Father-in-Law, Chester B. Knapp and her niece Megan Harms Henneberg. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Service Information
