Mary C. Locher

Mary C. Locher, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Nov. 5, 2007 after a prolonged illness. She was very precious to her three sons and their families and was the ideal mother-gentle, sweet, loving and supportive. She is survived by her three sons, Ron Locher and wife Linda of Oro Valley, AZ, Bob Locher of Albuquerque, Dennis Locher and wife Chris of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Catherine Locher of San Diego, CA, Christine Locher of San Francisco, CA, Brian Locher of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Travis Locher of Rio Rancho. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald just six weeks ago, her daughter Maureen Locher of Albuquerque, a brother, Ted of Dubuque, Iowa and her sister, Camilla of Dubuque, Iowa. Mary was a homemaker for most of her life and resided in Albuquerque since 1953. Cremation has taken place and will be followed by a private family ceremony. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Judy, our mother's home health caregiver, and nurse Denise and health aide Sandra, both of Ambercare Hospice, all of whom treated out mother with love, grace, and dignity.
