Mary Ann Marrs
November 28th, 1934 - January 27th, 2018
Mary Ann Marrs of Yuba City passed away January 27, 2018. Mary Ann was born November 28, 1934, in Middletown, Connecticut to Daniel Sr. and Mary Pillarella and has resided in the Yuba-Sutter area since 1964. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack C. Marrs, her daughters, Diana Heller and Husband (Bob Heller) of Texas, Mary Ann Walton of Texas, Helen Asher and husband (Gary Asher) of Browns Valley, CA; and her son, Michael Marrs and wife (Kellie Marrs) of Durham, CA. Her brother, William A. Pillarella of Connecticut. Seven grandchildren, Chris Heller of Texas, Bryan Heller of Texas, Chantel Walton of Missouri, Kayla Wynn of Virginia, Trevor Marrs, Jared Marrs, Rachel Marrs of Durham, CA. Six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Pillarella Sr. and Mary Pillarellaand; and her brothers, Daniel Jr., John and Frank Pillarella of Connecticut. Mary Ann retired as a Bank of America employee after 22+ years. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing and was an avid golfer. She was a member of The Daughters of Leisure (DOLS) and loved playing Bunco with her friends. She attended many community craft shows with her daughters and cherished the holidays as time to reflect on her beautiful family. At her family's request, a memorial service will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 5th, 2018, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Rideout Foundation Cancer Center Patient Discretionary Fund.
