Mary Meadows

Mary E. Meadows, 83, of Brighton, passed away January 12, 2013 in Brighton. She was born January 7, 1930 in Collierstown, VA to Greenlee and Nannie (Bane) Ailstock. She graduated from high school in Covington, VA and married Vance C. Meadows on March 25, 1950 in San Francisco, CA. Mary was a stay at home mom who loved her vegetable and flower gardens and loved taking care of the farm. She loved being a farm girl and loved the fall colors of Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was a Southern Classy Lady who knew the value of hard work and family. Mary is survived by her children, Mary Jane Holton of Kilgore, TX, Clifford Meadows of Boise, ID, Gaye Elaine Patterson of Cody, WY, Frank (Deb) Meadows of Ft. Lupton, Marggie Marie (Lenny) Buss of Boise, ID, Joyce (Mark) Scruggs of Powell, WY, and Jeannie (Rock) Eckhardt of Casper, WY; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Vance, in 2010; two brothers and one sister. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Interment will take place in Idaho. Memorial Contributions can be made in Mary's name to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 455 Sherman Street, Suite 500, Denver, Colorado 80203. Service Information
