Obituary Mary Charles Cox Mitchum, 89, of Lexington, Kentucky and the widow of W.L. Mitchum, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. She was born October 20, 1923 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late Charles Robert and Lucille Frances Cox. Mary Charles is survived by her children, Anita (Jarold) Williams of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Lawrence (Patricia) Mitchum of Midway, Kentucky and Susan (David Jr.) Fulcher of Lexington, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert (Kathy) Cox of Dayton, Ohio. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Charles was preceded in death by her son, Philip Mitchum; and her brothers, James and Edward Cox. Funeral Information Visitation will be 11am - 1pm, Monday, February 4, 2013 at First Assembly of God, 2780 Clays Mill Rd, Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral Service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Steve Gehring officiating. Burial will take place in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
