Mary Katherine Mones

Mary Katherine Mones passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in Ione, CA at the age of 79 years old. She was born in Selma, AL on March 4, 1943, a daughter of the late Helen Carmen (Martin) and Marvin Fike Edwards, Sr. Mary is survived by her husband, Eleno Mones of Ione, CA; a daughter, Debbie (Sam) Arledge, of Valley Springs, CA; two sons Doug (Peggy) Mehlhaff of Livermore, CA and Eric Mehlhaff of Oakdale, CA; two sisters, Carmen Fluker, and Lynn Duncan; two brothers, Marvin Edwards, and Richard Edwards. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lyndsey, Ally, Sam, Austin, Morgan, Logan, Kyndle and Christian, great grandchildren, Lilly, Raylan, Sammie, Jase, Gianna, Kaylee, and McKinley. As well as her faithful and loyal companion dog, Snookie. She is preceded in death by her sister, Gloria. Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Glory Bound Church in Burson, CA. A private interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson, CA.
