A Memorial Mass for Mary Ann O'Connor, 49 of Chico, CA, will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Our Divine Savior Catholic Church, 566 E. Lassen Avenue, Chico. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 29th from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Affordable Mortuary, 587 Country Drive, Chico. Mary Ann passed away on January 22, 2008 at her residence. She was born February 5, 1958 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California. She was born to James T. Williams, a native of Texas, and Barbara Tohill of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She attended schools in South Gate and graduated from South Gate High School in 1976. She was an only child until she joined the Hubanks family after her fathers death and her mothers health failed. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and mom, Zola Hubanks. She had a sarcastic and witty sense of humor. She loved comedies such as I Love Lucy, Young Frankenstein, Overboard, Blazing Saddles and the Jerk. John Travolta was her all time favorite actor. Her favorite Travolta movie was Michael. She loved her daughters, Megan and Brenda fiercely, and found joy in spending time with nieces and nephews. She is survived by daughters, Brenda and Megan O'Connor of Chico; sisters, Sharon McMeans of Torrance and Valerie Sims of Crescent City; cousin, Shannon Rudkowski of Rocklin; nieces, Susan Dahl, Sarah Davis, Angela Schall and Mary Chambers. Contributions in her memory may be made to a children's fund of your choice, in care of Affordable Mortuary, who are handling the arrangements.
