Mary A. Perdue
February 5th, 1932 - November 30th, 2022
Mary A. Perdue, 90, widow of Howard J. Perdue, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on February 5, 1932 to the late Eugene Vincent and Gladys Mae Roan Walding. Mary was a homemaker; she loved raising her family and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and she was a member of Buck Run Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Pat (Marion) Jarnagin; her sons, Kevin (Sara) Perdue, Midway, and Bradley (Tammie) Perdue, CA; her daughter-in-law, Vickey Perdue, NM; her sisters, Marge (William) Crosby, AK, Genevieve Hathaway, AK, and Jean V. Douglas, Missouri; her brothers, James Walding, Mike Walding, CA, and Daniel (Barbara) Walding, TX; her grandchildren, Janet (Trent) Hobbs, OH, Rebecca (Timothy) Smith, KY, Kevin M. (Julie) Jarnagin, LA, Kyle (Deadra) Jarnagin, OK, Samuel J. Perdue, Maryland, Hannah (Tyler) Howe, Midway, Katherine Perdue, CA, Tyler (Stephanie) Perdue, NY, and Brandon (Isabella) Perdue, CA; 18 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Jackie (Jerry) Kysar, WY; and her brother-in-law, Mickey (Theresa) Perdue, CA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her, son, Kim H. Perdue; and her brother, Gerald F. Walding. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Dr. Herschell York and Dr. Wesley Noss officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Brandon Perdue, Kevin Jarnagin, Kyle Jarnagin, Tim Smith, Trent Hobbs, Tyler Perdue, Ryan Hobbs, and Cade Dixon. Honorary casketbearers will be Rhett Hobbs, Ty Hobbs, Jett Jarnagin, Knox Jarnagin, Noah Jarnagin, Alex Jarnagin, and Levi Jarnagin. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buck Run Baptist Church at 1950 Leestown Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601, 502-695-4050, www.buckrun.org.
