Mary Angela Hartley Simpson

Mary Angela Hartley Simpson, 65, wife of Danny D. Simpson, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. A native of Frankfort, she was born on March 4, 1955 to the late Charlie and Helen Nickles Harley. She worked for the Department of Transportation as a Personnel Specialist. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Angela (Robie) Mitchell, Frankfort and Sarah Simpson, Frankfort; her son, Daniel Simpson, Frankfort; her sister, Ann (Steven) Smith, Frankfort; her sister-in-law, Judy Hartley, Frankfort; her brothers, Steve (Gina) Hartley, Frankfort, Mike (Cathy) Hartley, Frankfort, and Joseph Hartley, IN; and her grandchildren, Alex Mitchell, Autumn Mitchell, and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Hartley. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Capital City Christian Church. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
