VERSAILLES- Mary L. Walling, 79, widow of Benton Walling, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Conway and Pearl Carroll Williams on September 9, 1940. Ms. Walling was the owner and operator of Mary L’s Grocery. She is survived by her children, Rena Kay Walling (Charles) Traugott, Peggy (Charley) Tipton, Connie (Mark) Moore, Ben (Linda) Walling, and Danny Walling, all of Versailles; grandchildren, Rebecca (Danny) Owens, Amanda Traugott, Chrissy (Josh) Hunter, Amy Tipton, Thomas (Sara) Tipton, Trisha Ratcliff, Melody (Michael) Traugott, Mikaela Walling, Donna McKeena, Jonathan Moore and Andrew Moore; and great grandchildren, Danny Wayne (Bethany), Cameron, Alex, and Brandon Owens, Clayton Berger, Chloe Muniz, Gracie and Kyle Fetters, Colton Tipton, Landon Moore, Jacob Moore, Lilly McKeena and William McKeena. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Wayne Williams; brother, Harold Williams; and granddaughter, Jenna Kay Walling. Funeral Service will be 10:00AM Friday, March 6, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Gary Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Danny Wayne Owens, Cameron Owens, Alex Owens, Josh Hunter, Clayton Berger, and Danny Owens. Honorary casketbearers will be Amanda Traugott, Rebecca Owens, Chrissy Hunter, Amy Tipton, Mikaela Walling, and Donna McKeena. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home.
