Mary Scott Whitaker Obituary Mary was born October 2, 1942 In St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated From Northeast High School in 1960. She was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson (Bud) and Mary Catherine (Kitty) Scott. She worked in Pinellas County Schools for 35 years. She spent 10 years at Lealman Elementary and 25 at Boca Ciega High School. She enjoyed working with teenagers and being around her beloved cats. Survivors are her daughters Kathleen Whitaker, Kandi Blubaugh and her son John Whitaker, St. Petersburg, FL; the father of her children, Jim Whitaker, Largo, FL; two granddaughters Krisanne Jacques (her wife Kate Eastman), Portland, OR, and Kari Crawford, Rosman, NC; two great-granddaughters, Khloe Crawford and Madison Crawford, Rosman, NC; one great-grandson Silas Jacques Eastman , Portland, OR; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Please join the family in celebrating her life on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 6pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg, 719 Arlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL.
