All-States Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Marya Lynn Mondragon
January 14th, 1971 - July 15th, 2020
In Remembrance of Marya Lynn Mondragon July 2015 Marya was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer and her life had changed. She was not going to let the cancer get her down, she always worked hard, and was such a giving soul. She had a zest for life and wanting to live it to the fullest, she was on a mission to do just that and more. But with chemo and medications, too many to mention; she didn’t let it get her down, she kept her spirits high. She traveled, she got to spend unforgettable nights with unforgettable people, went to amusement parks with her grandchildren and still rode all the rides. She laughed a lot, and she cried a lot too. Sometimes the pain was too much to bear. In the end of a 4-year battle, she still had so much more to give that even in the end she couldn’t say goodbye! After a hard-fought battle with an aggressive cancer Marya Age 49, went home to Jesus in the embrace of family on July 15th, 2020. I know there’s a heaven because Marya is there. She is home now and at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is Survived by her mother Madeleine Bernal, grandfather Fernando Bernal, brothers Anthony and Marcelino, daughter Maria and her grandchildren Milee and Nailah. (Preceded in death by son Andre Elias-2012.) Survived by her Father Frank Mondragon, sisters Sheryl, Valerie and Kim. (Preceded in death by brother Jason-2015.) Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, distant family and lots of friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 6th, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Church on 1985 Miller St. Lakewood, CO 80215. Rosary begins at 10:30 a.m. Mass at 11:30 am. Reception to follow in parish hall. The family would like to especially thank, Lutheran Hospice in their assistance in aiding the family in caring and support of Marya and all her family and friends who came to visit and showed continuous support. Flowers may be sent to the church and a box will be provided for donations and cards in the church hall. Thank you, Bernal/Mondragon Family.
