Marymaxine Gayman

July 23rd, 1938 - August 16th, 2024

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary Maxine Gayman of Loveland, Colorado passed away on August 16, 2024.

Mary was born in Colorado Springs on July 23, 1938 to Lester and Iva Williams. Shortly after she was born, the family relocated to La Junta, Colorado where she attended school. After graduation, she met the love of her life Elden Gayman. They were married on July 12, 1956. They were blessed with three children, Reid, Steven, and Valorie.

Mary was active in her children’s school and sports activities. She was very involved with the Scouts. She was proud of her career at Prudential Insurance and was a registered representative. After retiring from Prudential, Mary and Elden spent time traveling in their motor home. They mostly spent their time in Bullhead City, AZ and Alaska.

They finally settled in Loveland in 2003 to be closer to their family. Mary was active in their church and loved to help plan weddings. She was an incredible cook and always made sure there was a hot meal on the table.

Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years Elden of Loveland. Son Reid of Fort Collins. Son, Steven of Loveland. Daughter and son-in-law, Valorie and John Cochrane of Broomfield. 8 grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Cochrane of Broomfield, Dustin (April) Cochrane of Walden, Tamara (Kevin) Davis of Denver, Kurtis (Lindsay) Gayman of Denver, Michelle (Max) Odom of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Stephanie (Shane) Steinhoff of Broomfield, Tyler Gayman and Ashley Gayman. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Gayman.

A private family service is planned for August 23, 2024.

Memorial contributions can be made to Bristol Hospice in honor of Mary.
