Matthew Robert Gardner, 24, of Greeley, CO, passed away on January 10th, 2024. He was born to Aaron and Stacy Gardner in Aurora, Colorado on March 15, 1999. He was a Senior Master Sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol; his call name was “Dapper”. He excelled in track and rugby and graduated as valedictorian. In 2019, he met Anne Marie McFarland in Greeley, and they wed June 25, 2022. They enjoyed cooking, fishing, painting, playing cards, and spending time with their two dogs. He loved summertime, photography, art, reading, and movie nights. Matthew is survived by his wife, Anne Marie; grandparents, Robert and Mary Warren of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; aunt Stephenie Gardner, partner Chris and cousin of Littleton, Colorado; brother Zachary, wife Megan and nephew of Merriam Woods, Missouri; his father Aaron, stepmother Amanda Gardner and siblings of Greeley, Colorado. Celebration of Life will be Monday January 22nd, 2024 at 11am at the Evans Community Center in Evans, Colorado.
