Matthew Eldon Hood

Loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Son and Brother Born 7/29/1960, married to Rebecca on 7/24/1982. Blessed with 12 children, James (Jenny), Leah (Joshua), Sarah (Logan), David (Moe Nu), Daniel, Hannah, Debbie, Rebekah, Timothy, Dinah, Mary, and Elizabeth, along with 13 grandchildren. He served the Lord his whole life and touched many lives with his witness. Known for his goofy sense of humor, the love for his family and his Bible, and a lifelong love of Christmas. He is survived by his mother and father, Marj Hood and Kent Hood; his brother Ken Hood; and sister Laura (Hood) Orr. He leaves behind a devoted wife who served the Lord with him along with 12 children and 13 grandchildren. -Matthew 25:23 His Lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. Visitation 10:00 AM at Southside Baptist Church, 5613 S. Robert Trail, Inver Grove Heights on Saturday, December 19, 2020 with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Union Cemetery.
