Maura Araiza De Luquin 59, passed to the kingdom of heaven on October 10, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving children and family in her home in Salinas, Ca.
She was born on March 4, 1965 in Nayarit, Mexico.
Maura was a homemaker who took care of her children and family. She enjoyed having her home filled with close family and friends to show off her amazing cooking.
During her free time she enjoyed caring for her garden and planting vegetables that she could later use for her family dinners.
Maura enjoyed playing Bingo at Broadway and made friends who became family.
Maura is survived by her children Victoria Luquin, Mayra Luquin, Ismael Luquin Jr and partner Rodrigo Chico, Eduardo Luquin and his wife Sonia Zepeda-Luquin.
She had one grandchild Martin Garcia Jr. She had a total of 9 siblings, three sisters and six brothers.
Viewing will be held at Healey Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm
Mass will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10:00am at Christ the King Church, and to be followed by the burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
