CLAIR, MAUREEN “MAURE” L. (LANG), age 67, of Largo, Florida, died on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home. Wife of the late Ronald Clair, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Gertrude R. Lang (Linder), and beloved sister of Joseph F. Lang (Martha), Christine A. Salitrik (Gary), Timothy P. Lang (Lisa), Susanne M. Lang, Deacon Thomas A. Lang (Carla), and the late Joyce Marie Lang, and Michael J. Lang (Elissa).
Maureen was born in Pittsburgh on April 21, 1957, and grew up in Sharpsburg, PA. She graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1975, and from CCAC as a Paralegal.
Maureen worked as a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal for Cipriani & Werner in Pittsburgh for many years prior to moving to Florida with her husband. Maureen continued her paralegal work with attorney Joseph E. Gayton, and then with Papa & Gipe, P.A., prior to her retirement.
Maureen derived great joy from her dogs whom she dearly loved, especially her surviving dog, “Paris Coco!” She was a caring, compassionate, and loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, co-employee, and friend to so many. Avoiding conflict at all costs, she greeted everyone with her great big and sincere smile.
A service and inurnment will be at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church (part of Christ the King Parish) located in Sharpsburg, PA.
