Maureen Patricia Fitzpatrick Skidmore
September 26th, 1935 - October 3rd, 2018
On October 3, 2018, Maureen Patricia Fitzpatrick Skidmore passed peacefully from this earth to the arms of her husband, Robert Dean Skidmore, who had been waiting for her for 7 years. Just a week before, she had been joyfully celebrating her 83rd birthday with family. Born on September 26, 1935, to Robert and Eliese Fitzpatrick, she grew up in Sacramento, California. She loved the outdoors and gardening. She volunteered with her husband as a caretaker at Zions Camp where she was 'Mother Nature' for 36 years. She also served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Australia. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by a brother, Ralph and sister, Kathy, and her four children, Lynn (Debbie) Skidmore, Mark (Rhonda) Skidmore, Annette (Darold) Darling, and Debra (Bill) Eckhardt. Also, 17 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren will miss her. Services will be held Monday, October 15, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS Church's Lincoln Chapel at 252 O Street in Lincoln, CA. Viewing at the same location will begin one hour prior. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
