Edwards Memorial Funeral Homes - Lakewood

At Edwards Memorial, our dedication to serving the Tacoma community is reflected in our commitment to offering quality services at an unbeatable price. Recognizing that Washington State has one of the highest cremation rates in the country, we've tailored our approach to meet the specific needs of our community. Instead of investing in costly, elaborate facilities that are seldom used, we minimized our overhead expenses, allowing us to extend significant savings directly to the families we serve.

I have been friends with max for over 50 years. I lost touch with him and looked about 10 years to find him and I did. I tried to visit with him every other week. Most the time I was able to see him. Max is and was a good man, and my best friend. Max I will never forget you.

Max was at the Randle Library a few years ago making copies when I walked in to use the copy machine, he smiled and I said hi. We started chatting about the weather and how beautiful Randle was and found out we were close neighbors and how Crystal Geiser wanted to build a huge facility and pump 4,000 g. Per minute from our water wells. Max lit a fire under me, and I went to work making signs, the rest is history. Crystsl Geiser lost because neighbors banded together and Max Pabst had a lot to do with it. I saw Max here and there periodically through the years, most recently in the parking lot of Fischers ,he had found the cutest sickly looking black kitten in the middle of Kiona Rd. S. And asked me if I knew anyone to take it, I said I would, Max looked at me and said "you have a kind heart.' Well Max Pabst....it takes one to know one.❣️R.I.P Max ;you made the world more enjoyable for all that knew you. JulieG.

I met Max when I was 16 years old. His daughter, Heidi and I have been friends for over 20 years. When we were teenagers Max was like a dad to me. See I didnt have my dad in my life and Heidi didn't have her mom, so her dad was like my own and my mom was like her own. Max was always there for us whenever we needed anything. I remember the smile Max always had, the happy moments we spent together. Max had the biggest heart and would help out anyone he could. Max loved his daughter, Heidi, and loved his 2 grandkids even more. He was so happy the day his grandson Max was born. I will never forget how he gave me a place to live, food to eat, and advice when i needed it. Max will forever my remembered by so many. I love you Dad rest in peace!! Love Teresa
