Maxine Marie Kelly passed away February 26, 2019 at Serenity House of Mooresville after months of declining health. She is survived by her husband Matthew Kelly of Statesville, sister Linda Thompson of Kernersville, sister Jewel Waldo of Vestal, NY, brother Henry Matthews of Pearl, Miss., and her children, son, Johnny Sexton of Monroe, daughter, Pamela Passman of Hickory, daughter, Jennifer Barrett of Monroe, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her father, Henry Earl Matthews, mother, Dale Jacobs Matthews, and sister Joy Kay Matthews. Memorials can be made to:
