December 29th, 1929 - June 5th, 2020
Maxine Nelson Moore, 90, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Friday June 5, 2020. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday June 13, 2020 at Westminster Gardens, Greensboro, NC. A native of Stokes County, NC, Maxine was the wife of the late Troy Fulton Moore and the daughter of the late Walter Lee Nelson and Nannie Lee Simmons Nelson. Survivors include her daughter Angie Hugendubler and husband, Jeff of Kernersville, NC; son, Darrell Moore and wife, Kathy of Summerfield, NC; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her five brothers, James Nelson, Lee Nelson, Maynard Nelson, Sam Nelson, and Donald Nelson; and three sisters, Dorthea Hall, and Shirley Latham, and Flo Shelton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guilford County, c/o AuthoraCare Collective, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
