David C. Gross Funeral Homes
Maxwell "Max" Miske Miller
January 21st, 1992 - April 11th, 2018
Max Miller, of Treasure Island, FL and Somerville, MA, passed away Wednesday, April 11, at the all too young age of 26. Those who were fortunate to include Max as a friend understood he considered friendship as his ultimate purpose and that he could be counted on regardless of his personal sacrifices. Despite his cool exterior, Max was the warmest and caring of people. That same calm composure enabled him to excel in most challenging environments. This was evident in his hobbies, deep sea fishing and rugby. Additionally, Max was passionate about the culinary arts and was a student of craft beers and other liquors. Max’s family includes his parents, Terri and Stephen Miller; grandmother, Suzanne Miller; aunts and uncles from the Midwest and New England: Mary and Frank Mascari, Donald Savage, Philip Savage, John and Jan Savage, Cynthia Mancuso and Michael Postolowski, and Oren Sherman and Richard Miller. Services will be held at 10 am on Sunday, April 15 at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Ave. S., St. Petersburg. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Largo. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in Max’s memory to Voices of Hope for Aphasia, 200 2nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
