Melinda Louise Miller, age 68, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benard and Beatrice Miller. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Thomas H. Wallace, Buford, GA; brother, Jack Frederick, Charlotte, NC; niece, Ashley Nearby, Waxhaw, NC; and nephew, Sandy Miller, Stallings, NC. Ms. Miller graduated from Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte with a degree in Administrative Secretarial Science, and she also attended UNC. Ms. Miller and Tom attended 12 Stone Church. She volunteered for Georgia Road to Recovery Cancer. org. Ms. Miller loved traveling and concerts. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA. The family receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. A graveside service will be conducted Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, May 24 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Melinda Louise Miller.
