Melissa "Missy" Ann Johnson

Mrs. Melissa Ann Johnson, age 52 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Sat. Nov. 17, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice with her family. Mrs. Johnson was born July 5, 1966 in Lake Wales, FL. She was a lifetime Polk Co. resident and graduated from Frostproof High School Class of 1984. Missy was a homemaker and a worker/helper for the Alliance Health Care for the elderly. She enjoyed gardening flowers, watching church on Facebook, collecting teddy bears, angels, tea pots and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal & maternal grandparents. Missy is survived by her loving & devoted family; Husband of 27 yrs.: Henry “Bo” Johnson, Jr. of Winter Haven, 2 Daughters: Michelle Dawn Johnson of Winter Haven, Angie Marie Johnson of Frostproof, Parents: William & Joyce Rodgers of Lake Hamilton, 2 Brothers: Terry (Wanda) Mancill of Bartow, T.J. Rodgers of Lake Wales, Sister: Vera Michelle Porter of Lake Hamilton, 2 Grandchildren: Evan and Haley, 2 Nephews: Terry Jr. and Jaden, 2 Nieces: Casey and Jessica. Funeral service will be 3 pm Wed. Nov. 21st at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
