Melvin Clark Odd
July 22nd, 1924 - August 27th, 2008
Melvin Clark Odd born July 22, 1924 in Clearfield, Utah to Joseph Newman Odd and Ruby Ann Clark Odd, passed away August 27, 2008 in Enumclaw after a lengthy illness. He married Evelyn Speirs Odd on January 21, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his children, Charles Odd (Cindy) Hayden, ID. Craig Odd (Ellen) Buckley, Suzanne Oats (Daniel) Federal Way, Robert Odd (Tracy) Milton, WA. Melvin served in the Army Air Corps from 1943-1946 and worked as a Air Force Plant Representative at Boeing retiring in 1979 after 35 years of service. Is survived by his wife, Evelyn, Buckley; children, Charles Odd (Cindy) Hayden, ID., Craig Odd (Ellen) Buckley, Suzanne Oats (Daniel) Federal Way, Robert Odd (Tracy) Milton, WA. 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, twin sister, Melva Page, brother, Joseph Odd. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Alice Jensen and Carol Braund, brother, Leonard A. Odd, and one grandson, Richard Ryan Odd. A funeral service was held on Tuesday Sept. 2, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Buckley. Interment followed in the Buckley Cemetery.
