Meredith Aletta (Hunter) Miller passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 following a long lingering illness. ""Mickey"" was born in Madison, West Virginia on February 22, 1931. She moved to Brevard County in 1983 where she has been a resident of Cocoa Beach and member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dixie Hunter, older sister Edith (Adkins), younger sister Gledith (Richmond), and younger brother Charles Hunter. She will always be remembered as an amazing and thoughtful daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She is survived by her one son, Dr. Michael D. Miller of Cape Canaveral. Her memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Cocoa Beach on Saturday, September 20th, 2014 at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Jay Bergstresser with an interment in the church's Memorial Garden. Everyone is invited to attend a catered luncheon in the Parrish Hall following the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Wuesthoff Hospice, who has provided twenty-hour care and support during this time.
