Merle Ralph Shreffler, 102 years young, passed away peacefully in his home on April 5, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Churchill, her husband, Winston T. Churchill, II, his grandson Trevor Schuler, and great grandson Angelus Powell. He was known by his friends and family as Ralph. Ralph and his wife Iona were married 74 years enjoying a full and happy life doing everything together until she passed away in 2018. Ralph was a 32nd degree Mason and worked for the Railroad Retirement Board. He served in the Army Air Corps in communications in World War II from 1942 to 1946. He contributed his long life to clean living while keeping busy and healthy. Born on March 19, 1922, he lived in Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Texas, Arizona, and Florida. He was a well-traveled and proud man who valued relationships with family and friends. Entombment Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Mesa, AZ.
