Michael was a veteran of the United States Army for 20 years. He loved every minute of serving his country. He was an avid reader; he enjoyed reading military fiction. He also enjoyed action books. He loved to travel and camp out. He loved any type of auto racing. He also enjoyed watching action movies, car chases, cool fighting scenes, stuff like that. His favorite authors were Stephen King and Tom Clancy; he had entire collections of both their works. He also enjoyed reading James Patterson novels. Michael was a man of few words, but when he spoke people listened. Michael was a very kind person, and if you got to know him, you were lucky. He did not have a wide circle of friends, but if you were one of them, you were special.
