Betz, Rossi Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home - Gloversville
Michael H. Beasley
September 27th, 1969 - July 18th, 2021
Mr. Michael H. Beasley, age 51, of Gloversville, New York, died July 18, 2021 at his home. He was born September 27, 1969 in Long Beach, California, the son of Ronald Beasley Sr. (US NAVY) and Ann Glover Witherell. After graduating high school, he went to work in maintenance and construction, spending several years with Volvo and Ford. He had a passion for helping others in their time of need, and he did so by volunteering with the Sparkill Volunteer Fire Department for over 10 years and making people laugh by being the life of the party. In 1989 he headed to Charleston, SC to help rebuild homes with his brother after Hurricane Hugo. He was a wiz with a chainsaw and helped anyone in need. When Michael wasn't at work, he enjoyed memberships with the Sons of the American Legion, and the local Catholic Church. Michael was, however, most proud of his two sons and their enlistment in the United States Navy. Michael is survived by his mother, Ann Witherell, step-mother Anne Beasley, sons Michael and Devin Beasley, and siblings Ronald Beasley Jr., Sandy & Kevin Beauchesne, Robert Beasley, Thomas & Beth Beasley, Sarah & Hector Beasley de Herrera, Tina Witherell, and Kevin Beasley, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald J. Beasley Sr. A private gathering for family will be held at Walrath & Stewart Funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial taking place on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main St; Gloversville, NY with Rev. Donald Czelusniak officiating. Interment will take place privately, at the convenience of the family.
