Michael Wayne Brooks

Michael "Flying Eagle” Wayne Brooks, 19, of Greeley, CO passed away October 23, 2017. He was born October 3, 1998 in Colorado to Amy L. Brooks. He loved landscaping and spending time with his friends. He has planned on going to California in 2018 and joining the Coast Guard. Michael had a big heart and would do anything at any time for anyone. He was a loving son and brother and will be missed by his family and friends. To all his friends in Greeley – Thank you for the donations. He is survived by his mother, Amy L. Brooks; brother, Wuaquin S. Brooks, both of Greeley; grandma, Helen Quintana of Grand Junction, CO; grandpa, Raymond Adams of Benson, AZ; aunt, Blair Brooks of Florida; uncle, Gene Dalton of California; cousins Melissa of California, Lydia and Ms. Gracie Brooks of Florida; aunts, uncles and cousins of Grand Junction; and stepbrothers, Benjamin and Nicolas of Greeley. Michael was preceded in death by his grandma, Gayle E. Adams of California; uncle, John Brooks; and cousin, Larry Gardner. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Linn Grove Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Eagles Club in LaSalle, CO.
