Michael "Mike" or "Mickle" Thomas Chambers, a 3 year resident of Las Vegas NV, passed away on September 2, 2015. He was born on July 14, 1949 in Chicago Heights, IL to Paul and Elouise Chambers. He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California, School of Architecture. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Hemet San Jacinto Lodge 338 F&AM. Mike served in the US Army from 1969-1971; he was stationed in Saigon, Vietnam. One of his first jobs was working for Cambro Manufacturing Company in Huntington Beach, CA. It was there while working for William "Bill" Campbell, along with his older brother Bud Chambers, that he learned about plastic design and manufacturing. He started Chambers & Company, an architectural firm, in Laguna Beach, CA and practiced for 7 years before moving on. His architectural and manufacturing experience led him to subsequent careers in sales and marketing, finally entering the financial world of brokerage firms. He went independent in 2002 with The Chambers Group LLC. His love and respect for architecture carried over to his passion for photography. Many cross country journeys between Chicago and Los Angeles as a young child gave him an appreciation for the road trip. He enjoyed sharing photography with others, especially with his granddaughter Cali, the light of his life. He is survived by his wife, Alison S. Chambers; sons Zachary T. Chambers (Darlene) and Matthew M. Chambers; granddaughter Cali Caitlin Chambers; siblings Paul G. Chambers, Kenneth Chambers, Sharon L. Boyens, and Robert Chambers; and many nieces and nephews. At his request, no services will be held; his ashes will be scattered in the Eastern Sierras in a private ceremony by his children. His favorite poem by Shel Silverstein: Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.

🎈 Dear Alison and family, I didn't know Mike very well but I'm glad to have known him for the short time I did. I appreciated his fresh perspective in the Nevada Camera Club. My most impressive memory of him is when he invited some camera club members to his house to show off the amazing Christmas display in his home. (He and Alison were fairly new to the Camera Club at that time) That night I had the opportunity to converse with him and get to know him. He had such a twinkle in his eye and I could see and feel his passion. I liked him immediately. That is the Michael that I have always seen and will remember. His passion will carry over to the other side. I am sad that he had to leave this earth early, however, I know that he is still watching over his family with love. Thank you, Michael for all you did while you were here. You will be remembered and missed. <3 My sincerest condolences for the Chambers family. May you all be blessed with love, strength, peace and joyous memories. Love and light to all of you. JarieLyn Robbins

🕯️ The first time I met Uncle Mike was in Bear Lake MI. I was twelve years old and there for a family reunion with the Chamber's crew and I remember thinking what super funny guy Uncle Mike was. He decided to come back to Pittsburgh and he let ME ride in his Porsche - what a magical time for this twelve year old girl. He had a cb radio and gave me the handle "snake" to communicate to drivers and this OUTRAGEOUS book of fun sayings to flash to drivers on the road. He was an amazing man with so much energy;I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Uncle Mike thanks for the many smiles and laughs, you will be missed....

Dear Allison, I was heart broken to hear of Mike's passing. I remember the first night you and Mike came to Camera Club. I liked you both immediately! You have both done so much for the Camera Club...giving of your time so unselfishly for the benefit of others! I enjoyed Mike's enthusiasm for everything and for sharing his knowledge. I personally appreciate all that he did to help others improve their skills in the Club. I truly benefited from all that he did..l(and you!). I will miss him greatly! My love goes out to you and the entire family! I will miss his wonderful smile!
