Michael Albert Chartier
September 18th, 1957 - April 13th, 2022
Chicopee-Michael A. Chartier, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 13, 2022. He was born September 18, 1957 in Holyoke, son of Joseph A. and Rose (St. Pierre) Chartier. Michael grew up and lived in Belchertown for many years. For the past ten years, he has lived in Chicopee. Throughout his working career, Mike was a truck driver and drove for many companies before he became an independent contractor. Mike enjoyed time spent finding a hidden treasure while "tag sale-ing" as well as the great outdoors, casting his fishing rod in local streams. As a baseball and football fan, he liked to watch both the Patriots and Packers. Mike's memory will forever remain with his two daughters, Lisa Grimshaw and her husband Matt of W.Warwick, RI, and Amy Chartier and her children, Jacob, Haleigh, and Mason Chartier of Thorndike. Mike is also survived by his former wife, Susan (Brin) Chartier, his best friend, Mike Drouillard , his sister, Lori Seaver and her husband David, along with his nephew, Eric Chartier, his wife Michelle and their children, Lila and Braedan. Michael was predeceased by his two brothers, Bob and Douglas Chartier, and his grandson Jordan Chartier. Services will be held at a later date.
