Warner Robins, GA - Michel Wayne Dillard lost his battle with lung cancer on the morning of August 8, 2019 at his residence with his devoted wife of 39 years at his side. At the request of Mr. Michael and his family all services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice. Michael was born in Atlanta, Georgia and he later moved to Warner Robins where he resided from 1980 to 1997. Michael later moved to Savannah in 1997 until 2019 where he came back to Warner Robins. Michael worked over 30 years as an electrician in the Middle Georgia area. Michael also served as a mechanical engineer while he lived in Savannah. Mike will be remembered for being able to fix anything, and loving to teach others those same skills. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Ann and Raymond Cooley and his father, Wayne Leonard Dillard; brother, Dennis Steven Dillard. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cindy Dillard; daughter, Nikki Lytle (Brandon); grandchildren, Tyler Toraya, Cole Toraya Ivy Lytle, Lily Lytle; mother-in-law, Doris Gilliland; father-in-law, Fred Gilliland all of Warner Robins and sister Krystie Hunt and nieces and nephews in North Georgia.
