Michael E. Donnelly
August 20th, 1947 - July 4th, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael E. Donnelly announces his passing at the age of 70, from Philadelphia, PA, recently living in Glassboro, NJ on July 4, 2018. Legacy Michael graduated from Northeast Catholic High School for Boys in 1965. Michael was a 1968 Vietnam Veteran (173rd LRRP Airborne Brigade-N Co. 75th Airborne Ranger Infantry), were he earned several medals, including two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He was a loyal member of Local 470 Teamsters who retired after 30 years of service. He was a devoted family man, and he will be greatly missed by all. Family Michael will be lovingly missed and remembered as the beloved husband of 46 years to Anne M. (née Marunyak); Devoted father of Michael Thomas Donnelly (Beth Ann) and Sean Andrew Donnelly (Jhaemie); Cherished grandfather of Aaron, Tyler, Shaelyn, and Dorothy Anne; Adored son of the late Rita (née McCloskey) and James Charles Donnelly; Dear brother, cousin, and uncle to many. Farewell Ceremony Viewing Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 500 Greentree Rd., Glassboro, NJ 08028; Funeral Mass 11:00 AM; Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ Those who desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Michael to the 82nd Airborne Association Phila.
