Michael E. Dye, age 77 of Painesville Ohio, died on October 12, 2019 at MUSC Hospital, Charleston SC. Michael was born February 12, 1942 in Painesville Ohio to the late Arnie B. and Vesta M. Dye. Michael was a 1961 graduate of Harvey High School. He retired from a life time career of being a meat cutter after 44 years. During his career he was owner and operator of his own store, Concord Meat Market, which he ran for 11 years. In his younger years he was also very involved as a volunteer fireman for Concord Township in Ohio. Michael enjoyed cycling, photography and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn (Huggett), whom he married on September 14, 1963. Children: Brian E. (Deniece) Dye of Brick, New Jersey; Melissa A. Janovick of Summerville, SC; Michael W. (Kathy) Dye of Mount Pleasant, SC; Robert A. Dye of Oshkosh, WI. Grandchildren: Erin, Lindsay and Stella. A memorial service will be held in the spring in Painesville, Ohio.
