Michael Jordan Efird
March 1st, 1963 - April 6th, 2024
Michael Jordan Efird, 61, after some time of declining health, suffered heart failure at home and passed away a week later at Novant Matthews Medical Center Saturday, April 6, in Matthews, NC. Surviving are wife Teresa J. Moore, three daughters, Jordan Efird, Charlotte, Rebekah Efird, Raleigh, Alexandra Somervile (Ben), Fuquay-Varina and three grandchildren; parents, Gilbert Hall Efird Jr., Monroe, Carolyn Jordan Mobley, Concord; and brother Gilbert Hall Efird III. His half-sister Georgina Mobley preceded him in death. A memorial service and reception will be Saturday, April 13, 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Chapel, 4921 Randolph Rd, Charlotte.Inurnment in the church columbarium later.
