Michael Evans Etherington

He was born in Versailles, Kentucky to the late Robert M. and Dorothy Evins Etherington on December 7, 1948. Mr. Etherington was a Veteran of the United States Navy, member of the BPOE #530 Elks Lodge for over 30 years and a Kentucky Colonel. He also owned and operated Etherington Refrigeration, Inc. and retired from the Parks Department for the State. In addition to his wife of 46 years, he is survived by his daughter, Marla Gayle Etherington, Frankfort; his sons, Chuck (Tonya) Etherington, Cadiz and Marcus G. Etherington, Frankfort; his brothers, Bobby (Sue) Etherington, Stamping Ground and Ellery Etherington, Frankfort; his grandchildren, Lauren Etherington, Brooklyn Etherington, Logan Etherington and Conner Barnes; and his god grandson, Tre Patrick. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be 2pm Friday at Clark Legacy Center with Jeff Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Eric Stone, Patrick Stone, Roger Etherington, Mitchell Etherington, George Sanifer, Logan Etherington and Conner Barnes. Honorary casketbearers will be his grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. An Elks Memorial service will be held at 7pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
