Michael was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Evans and his mother, Carolyn Sue Rowland Evans Bruce; two brothers, Rick Evans and Keith Evans of Ohio.   He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carla Bruce Evans, who he married on October 23, 1987.  Sons: Michael (Jennifer) Evans, Christopher (Beth) Evans, and Keith (Kimberly) Evans. Michael had many hobbies. He enjoyed working out, fishing, boating, and making Tik Toc videos with his granddaughter, Sophia. He has also enjoyed a good afternoon tea party hosted by his granddaughters. He was a devoted family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren beyond measure. While recently going through photos it was difficult to find some when a grandchild was not sitting on his lap.

Michael was known for his charm, generosity, and kindness. He never met a stranger as Carla recently has found out by the number of neighbors who have stopped by to pay their respects.

“Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful, their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your love.” Author unknown.
