Michael S. Frederick of Tacoma Washington, age 62 passed away on January 6, 2019. He was born to parents Geraldine and Dorman Frederick on October 10, 1956 in Puyallup, Washington. Known as “Fred” to friends, he graduated from Puyallup High School and commenced what would become a 33-year career at Boeing. Michael retired from Boeing in 2014 and then spent his retirement days focused on well-earned relaxation and on his number one passion: Music. Michael is survived by his son Chad Frederick and brother Dennis Frederick. He was predeceased by his daughter Rachel, son Tracy, parents Geraldine and Dorman, and brother Stephen. Michael was best known for his love of rock and roll. He inflicted his love of music on all who knew him. He never missed an opportunity to discuss, in detail, the musical nuances of his favorite artists and their songs. Michael played the drums with absolute devotion. He was a rock and roller to the core every day of his life. The funeral service will be held at on February 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup.
