Michael Wilburn Galloway

Michael Wilburn Galloway,53,of Sumervillle, South Carolina surrounded by his loving family went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday June 13th, 2016. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 11 am at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 888 Central Avenue, Summerville, South Carolina. The family will recieve friends Wednesday, June 15th, from 6-8pm at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at Stono Baptist Cemetary at 6291 Hwy 165 Ravenel, SC. Michael was born February 20th, 1963 in Cherokee county, Georgia, son of Bobby “Pops” and Brenda “Dot” Galloway. He worked as a setup mechanic at Robert Bosch for 28 years. Mike was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was passionate about God’s word and loved teaching the adult sunday school class. He enjoyed gospel music and singing in the church choir. Mike, a devoted christian, lived a selfless life marked by deep love and commitment to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will loved and missed by all who knew him. Mike loved his family unconditionally. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Carson Galloway, his daughter Amber Christine Charlton (Jason), his son Brandon Voss all of Summerville, SC; his grandson Kayden Michael Charlton, his granddaughter Elise Alene Charlton both of Summerville, SC; his parents Bobby “Pops” Galloway and Brenda “Dot” Galloway of Ravenel, SC; his paternal greatgrandmother Jean Galloway of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; his sister Connie Galloway Smith (Tommy) of Ridgeville; two neices Jessica Smith and Olivia Galloway Doscher. He is predeced in death by his brother M. Christopher “Chris” Galloway. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 888 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC or Courageous Kidz, 230 Old Dominion Dr, N. Charleston, SC 29418.
