Michael V. Geary, 32, of Chico, CA, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was the beloved son of Daniel and Kathy Geary. Michael is survived by his brother Matthew D. Geary and Matthew's fiancée, Erica Heaney and his sister Amanda Geary Losacco and Amanda's husband, Michael Losacco.
Mike loved being around people and was the very definition of an extrovert. Those that knew him, were immediately drawn to his magnetic personality. He loved to cook and spent many years in the restaurant industry. He also had a love of animals, especially cats. Although his life was cut short, he will always be remembered for his friendly smile and engaging personality.
In addition to his parents and siblings, Mike is survived by his grandparents, Anita and Albert Shemo and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be private. The family asks that memorial contributions in Michael’s name be made to SAFE Project to help others with addiction.
