Michael David Hathorn II, born on June 5, 1988, was called home on October 6, 2021. Michael was the son of Leann Walsh and the late Michael “Big Mike” Hathorn, Sr., of Syracuse. He will always be remembered as the Patriarch of his family and the most loving father to his children. Michael could always find the good in anyone and any situation. Any time we will think of Michael we will see his beautiful eyes and bright smile. Michael, our promise to you is that our family will always stay together, just like you wanted. Michael is also predeceased by his brother, Ryan Hathorn. He lives on through his loving children: Julianna, Michael III, Xavier, soon to be son, Oliver. He is survived by: his partner, Ashlee DeSantis, and her children, Audrina, Cecilia, and Jason; as well as his siblings, Mark (Emmeline), Noelle (Stephen), Joshua, Adena, Rylee, and Roman. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, and loved his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as well. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 13, from 10 am-12 Noon, at St. Lucy’s Church, 432 Gifford St., Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Burial will be private.
