Michael "Big Mike" D. Hathorn, Sr.

Michael “Big Mike” Hathorn, Sr., born March 21, 1970, was called home on April 3, 2021. Michael was the son of Nathan and Carol Hathorn of Syracuse. He will always be remembered for his big smile, gift of story telling, and his one of a king sense of humor. Michael loved his family and wanted nothing more than for them to always be together. Michael is predeceased by his son, Ryan Hathorn. He leaves behind: his loving children, Michael Hathorn II, Mark, Adena, Rylee, and his youngest son, his baby, Roman Hathorn. He also leaves his siblings, Brian (Samantha) Bonner, Nathan Hathorn, and Karen Finnerty. He loved his six grandchildren: Juliana, Mikey, Mia, Lincoln, Xavier, and soon to be grandson, Adriel. Michael was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 9 from 10 am to 12 noon, at St. Lucy’s Church, 432 Gifford St., Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at Noon. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
