Michael Higgins (December 6, 1946 – December 4, 2022) Michael Higgins, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 75. Mike was born on December 6, 1946 and spent his early years serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service, Mike went on to become an accomplished electronic engineer. He was a man of science and had a passion for anything space related. This passion often found him helping NASA in their search for exoplanets. Mike is survived by his wife Maureen, his three children: Michael, Bob and Diane, and his eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Tom and his wife Edna Higgins. Mike will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will always remember his kind and loving nature, his intelligence and his enthusiasm for space and science. May he rest in peace.
